Our Story
Joseph Marchese founded Financial Planning Concepts in 1990 as a response to the transaction-driven sales model he witnessed while working on Wall Street. In contrast, Financial Planning Concepts was created to be a model of independent, objective advice.
Financial Planning Concepts was founded on the philosophy that life is about much more than just money, and our firm operates with old-fashioned, client-centered principles: Listen more than you talk. Understand what’s really important to the client, and what they want to accomplish. Be a resource. Be available. These principles have guided our approach to how we treat clients for over three decades.
Our commitment to work with you as a fiduciary means we will always act with your best interest in mind. We consider ourselves the antidote to Wall Street, and protect our clients from the excessive fees and conflicted advice associated with brokerage firms, banks, and insurance companies. We work directly for you, with no corporate office or middleman to come before our loyalty to you.
We define success as knowing our clients live their lives free from the financial stress so many investors feel when organizing their finances and investments. The overwhelming amount of information available today makes it almost impossible to filter out the financial noise and concentrate on the information most relevant to you. Knowing you have a fiduciary-level firm working to organize this information creates a peace of mind that is priceless.
